We will be holding a solo exhibition by Haruka Tachibana, a picture book and fairy tale author who is also active as an illustrator.
This exhibition will feature artwork from Lush Co., Ltd., known for its Kilfavon fruit tarts, and the kimono brand Furifuru, as well as original illustrations for a new picture book, all of which trace the artist's journey to date.

From 2002 to 2005, he worked as a designer for Lush Co., Ltd.'s original brand, happalucca, where he was in charge of the design and main visuals for clothes, accessories, bags, pouches, etc.
Based on the premise of "introducing to Japan the miscellaneous goods favored by a fictional Japanese girl who is popular in Paris," she has produced a variety of artworks with themes of Japanese-Western eclecticism and Chinoiserie design.

The illustration used on the flyer was created for happalucca's "Little Red Riding Hood" line, and is a collage made from scraps of kimono that the artist inherited from her grandmother.
In conjunction with this exhibition, he has begun work on his long-awaited "Scrapbook Series." This exhibition will feature new works using scraps.
In addition, you can see a variety of works created over the course of his career, including works drawn for the kimono brand "FuriFuri" and original illustrations for a new picture book.

Haruka Tachibana
Picture book author, children's literature author, and illustrator.
Originally from Yokohama, he has lived in Sapporo since 2012. He graduated from the Visual Communication Design Department at Musashino Art University.
She has written many books, including the picture books "Kodomo Mo-chan" (Kaiseisha) and "Oshare na Sari-chan" (PHP Institute), as well as the children's literature series "Ginkyoudo" (Kaiseisha).
He is active in a wide range of fields, including women's magazines, advertising, and packaging, and has worked on artwork for Kilfavon and designs for the kimono brand "FuriFuri."

In recent years, he has expanded his range of expression to include stage scripts and shadow puppet performances, and is scheduled to publish a new picture book in December.
