The Jumbo Christmas Tree has been installed every year since 1993, the year Sapporo Factory opened, and this year marks its 32nd appearance. As in previous years, a 15-meter-high Abies sachalinensis tree donated by Hiroo Santaland (Hiroo-cho, Hiroo-gun, Hokkaido) will be decorated with approximately 50,000 red, blue, yellow, white, green, and gold LED lights and 1,500 ornaments, creating a glittering and magical world of light and music during show time. This year, box-shaped lanterns made from larch and Abies sachalinensis from Hiroo Town will also be lit.

At the lighting ceremony on Saturday, November 2, 10 light-up kids selected from the general public, one "Hiroo Santa Kid" from Hiroo Town, and Hiroo Town Mayor Yasuaki Tanaka will press the switch to light the lanterns to the countdown. A special time will be prepared to welcome everyone to the Christmas arch decorated with LEDs and ornaments on the first floor of the atrium, as well as the draped lights on the atrium ceiling, which will all be turned on at the same time.
