■A Gaze at Nature: Heaven and Earth
This exhibition introduces works of art that express the relationship between humans and nature from the two themes of "heaven" and "earth. Enjoy works from the museum's collection and others created from a variety of perspectives and techniques.
*Present a ticket stub from a special exhibition held at Kushiro Art Museum or any other Hokkaido art museum to receive a discount for repeat visitors to a special exhibition currently being held at Kushiro Art Museum or any other Hokkaido art museum. (Only once per ticket stub, valid for one year from the last day of the exhibition period of the stub.)
Series Re-birth: From Weathering to Rebirth 2024 [From Decaying Things] - Toshiya Shimosawa Exhibition
Toshiya Shimozawa (b. 1960) has been working with clay in a wide range of creative activities, from pottery to dynamic ceramic sculptures. The simple yet powerful world of his works, which evoke the nature of ancient times, will be on view.
