Hokkaido Heritage - Forest Railway Steam Locomotive Amamiya No. 21
This steam locomotive was used to transport lumber in this area in the old days. It runs on the 2 km track laid out in the Ikoinomori Forest Park, with smoke billowing from the chimney and white steam coming out of the pistons in the undercarriage. It is the only working forest railroad steam locomotive in Japan and has been handed down to future generations as a valuable asset.
