Many people visit the Historic Site Kita Kogane Kaizuka Park, one of the "Jomon Monuments of Hokkaido and the Northern Tohoku Region" registered as a World Cultural Heritage site, every year.
Therefore, we will continue this year's project to revitalize the restored shell mound on the hill, the symbol of the Kita Kogane Kaizuka Park, to make it even more attractive together with the citizens!
Please bring the shells of oysters, clams, clams, and sea urchins that you have eaten to the Kitakogane Shell Mound Information Center. The curators will spread the shells on the restored shell mounds according to the proportions of the different types of shells in each mound.
Let's make the World Heritage Site of Kitakogane Shell Mound a more attractive historic site park by joining forces with your "hospitality" spirit!
