Nishiokoppe Village holds the "Uenshiri Mountain Climbing Club" every other year. Climb from the central trailhead and head to the summit while enjoying the magnificent scenery that stretches out before your eyes. Why not enjoy climbing while basking in the light of the early summer forest?

Eligibility: Elementary school students and above (*Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or an adult with parental consent.)
Number of applicants: First 25 applicants
Equipment: Comfortable clothes, hat, hiking shoes, gloves, towel
What to bring: Lunch, snacks, drinks (2L-3L), rain gear, cold weather clothing, snacks (nutritional supplements, jelly drinks, candy, chocolate, etc.), bear bell (if available), mask, portable toilet
