■Enjoy autumn at Kosetsuen, a famous autumn foliage viewing spot
This event is held at Kosetsuen, a well-known autumn foliage viewing spot. The nighttime illumination is popular, and the 100-meter-long maple tree-lined avenue is illuminated by light, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The pavilion in the shoin-style garden is open for tours until 5 pm.

Hakodate Momi-G Festa" is an event held at Kosetsuen (Miharu Park), Hakodate's most famous autumn foliage viewing spot. During the festival, the 100-meter-long maple trees are lit up from 4 pm to 9 pm. The park will be enveloped in a fantastic atmosphere.

Formerly the villa of a wealthy merchant in the Meiji era, the park is now a Hakodate City park and is well known by citizens. In 2001, it was designated as the only nationally designated cultural property garden in Hokkaido.
The vast grounds are planted with approximately 150 varieties of trees, and walking paths are provided so that visitors can enjoy the Japanese-style garden with its many attractions.

The Shoin-style garden pavilion, which was designed in the style of a tea ceremony house, is a particular highlight of the garden, which is open for tours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing visitors to take their time admiring the autumn leaves from both the outside and inside.

During the event, visitors can also try their hand at crafts such as vine decorations and crape crafts using natural materials at the "Green Center" in the park.

The park is about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport and Yunokawa Onsen Hot Spring. There is a bus route from Hakodate Station. Please dress warmly as it gets cold during the lighting-up period.
