This is the autumn harvest festival of Shintoku, held in the lush and spacious Kusoku Park. The annual all-you-can-stuff-yourself event of fresh local vegetables is very popular even among those from outside of the town, with visitors filling their bags with pumpkins, carrots, and other vegetables.

Fruits from sister city Higashine in Yamagata Prefecture are sold at the market. There will also be stalls where you can rent a barbecue stove so you can enjoy grilled meat under the blue sky, Shintoku's specialty "Shintoku soba" (buckwheat noodles), and shiitake mushrooms. On the stage, there will be live music and a fun raffle with gorgeous prizes! Everyone from adults to children can enjoy this event with a smile on their face.
