A workshop was held in advance, and the villagers who participated came up with decorative designs for the illuminations.

Based on the devised decorative designs, local residents then decorate the large playground equipment in the rural park with illuminations. The 50-meter-long tunnel of light is a particularly gorgeous sight, bringing a smile to the faces of all who walk through it.

Also, on the first day that the illuminations were turned on, a lighting ceremony was held in front of the large playground in Sarabetsu Rural Park, and a countdown to the lights were held, corn soup was served, and children were given glow-in-the-dark toys.
