We will hold a speech conference "TEDxSapporo 2024" on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

[Theme: KODAWARI ～Extraordinary passion～].
The word "obsession" has both forward-looking and backward-looking nuances, such as "uncompromisingly pursuing even the smallest details," "being preoccupied with small things," and "making things difficult. However, regardless of the connotation, behind "persistence" lies some kind of strong feeling (values, aesthetics, awareness of issues, etc.) that cannot be overlooked by the individual. And this is the driving force to overcome the barriers and difficulties that stand in the way in various ways when trying to realize something.

We must face the "commitment" within each of us. In this process, we believe there may be hidden hints for creating new values in today's complex and rapidly changing society.

This year's TEDxSapporo will be held under the title "KODAWARI - Extraordinary passion", as we believe this phrase represents the spirit to explore the unknown future. Let's listen to what speakers and participants are "passionate" about, reexamine our own "passion", and explore what value we can create only by being ourselves.
