Currently on display is an exhibition of works by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901), a painter who was active in the entertainment district of Montmartre in Paris at the end of the 19th century. This exhibition features approximately 260 pieces from the Philos Collection, one of the largest in the world, including sketches, posters, prints, letters, photographs, and more. In addition to the first public showing of one-of-a-kind sketches in Japan, other highlights include valuable materials that reveal the production process, such as sketches for posters. Enjoy the world of Lautrec, which will allow you to experience the glamorous era of Paris known as the Belle Époque.
