Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797-1861), an ukiyo-e artist active in the late Edo period, produced a wide variety of works, including warrior paintings based on the Chinese classic "Suikoden," as well as portraits of beautiful women and landscapes. This exhibition will introduce the fascinating world of Kuniyoshi through approximately 200 ukiyo-e prints and immersive video.
