The organizers of the 44th Hokuto City Moheji Salmon Festival have announced its cancellation due to poor salmon catches. For more information, please check the event's official website or the organizers' announcement.

This "salmon-filled" event will be held at the Moheji River, where salmon swim upstream. The catch-and-catch event (advance registration required) will be a big hit with spectators. Fresh seafood and salmon hotpots will also be available for purchase.
