・Sunday (upbound): Wakkanai → Asahikawa
JR Hokkaido will operate the tourist train "Hanatabi Souya" with the aim of revitalizing the railway by making use of the attractions of the area along the line. This year, the train will be operated with a four-car configuration. In addition, this year, new initiatives will be implemented, such as distributing "travel guidebooks" containing information about the attractions of the areas along the line on board, setting up tables introducing the areas along the line in part of the free space, and offering a coaster-making experience using wood from northern Hokkaido.
