The Hakodate International Folk Arts Festival is a large-scale summer festival held to encounter the "world." The theme of the 2025 festival will be "heart." Folk art groups (artists) from around the world will stay in Hakodate for an extended period of time, and will perform on the outdoor stage and hold experiential classes, mainly in Motomachi Park.
