The 33rd Hokkai Bon-uta National Competition will be held at Mikasa Civic Hall on Sunday, July 13th. Hokkai Bon-uta is a Hokkaido folk song that has been loved and sung throughout the country. Since its roots are in Mikasa City, the Hokkai Bon-uta National Competition has been held since 1993 in order to preserve and popularize it for a long time.
