■Lecture: "The soft life of hard corals"
■Contents
Beautiful, clear water, sparkling sunshine, perpetual summer climate... but tropical and subtropical environments can sometimes be harsh for living things. How has coral survived environmental changes throughout the long history of the Earth? Researchers who have surveyed coral reefs around the world will talk about the soft strength of the corals they have encountered. Also, let's think together about what kind of environment living things need to survive while observing the creatures at the aquarium.
