The Sapporo International Short Film Festival, which will be held for the 20th time, will be held for four days from October 10th (Friday) to the 13th (Monday, national holiday) at the Satsugeki Theater in Sapporo and other locations. In addition to hosting workshops aimed at nurturing the next generation of filmmakers and a contest in which participants must complete a one-minute film within 24 hours, the festival also functions as Japan's only short film market, where submitted works can be traded.
