Mt. Mitsuto, one of the 100 famous mountains in Hokkaido, is the second highest mountain in the Teshio mountain range after Mt. Pissiri at 1,009m above sea level. It is named "Mt. Mitsuto" because it has three humps. Looking around from the summit, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Shokanbetsu mountains, Rishiri Fuji, Daisetsu, and Teshio mountains.
