■What is the “Sunday Mathematical Society”?
Some people enjoy studying mathematics as a hobby and call it "Sunday Math."
The Sunday Mathematics Society is a presentation and networking event for people who enjoy mathematics as a hobby (=Sunday mathematicians), which has been held mainly in Tokyo since June 2015.
You can give a 5-minute short presentation (LT), talk about mathematics with other participants in the networking session, or enjoy mathematics-related games and puzzles.
This time, as a special project for the 10th anniversary, in addition to the Lightning Talk and networking event, there will also be recreational activities, a social gathering, and a walking tour of Sapporo city, making it an ultra-luxurious version!
Even if you're not good at studying "math," it's okay as long as you have the desire to have fun.
Anyone can participate, regardless of age, gender, or math ability.

10:00 Doors open
10:30 Pre-event: Mathematics Recreation (Play math-related games and interact with others. You can also participate in just part of the event!)
14:00 Lightning Talk Time and Networking
19:00 Move to a nearby restaurant for a social gathering (actual cost)
June 29th (Sunday) *Details of the project will be announced during the Lightning Talk on the first day.
10:00 Walk and sightseeing in Sapporo city
15:00 Disband near Sapporo Station (planned)

・If you are accompanied by a preschool child, you may use the nursing room and rest room. If you would like to use these rooms, please let us know at the time of application.
