The Wakkanai White Nights Film Festival, which colors the summer solstice in Wakkanai, the longest day in Japan, will be held again this year. This year's 11th Wakkanai White Nights Film Festival will feature a special screening of animation that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. This is a best selection carefully selected for the Wakkanai White Nights Film Festival by the New Chitose Airport International Animation Film Festival, which has been introducing the latest animation from around the world at New Chitose Airport since 2014.
On the day, the festival's chief director, Tomoko Ono, will talk in detail about the appeal of animation. This year's 11th Wakkanai White Nights Film Festival will feature all-night screenings of 16 films over two days, including special screenings of short animated films and many popular films for general screening.
