The Okiage Festival, which heralds the arrival of summer in Kamieunai, will be held again this year. On the special stage, there will be a taiko drum performance by students from the local Kamieunai Junior High School, a Soran dance performance by children from Kamieunai Elementary School, Okiage Ondo performances by the Kamieunai Ryujin Herring Fishing Ground Okiage Ondo Preservation Society, a Matsumae Kagura performance by the Kamieunai Matsumae Kagura Preservation Society, and live performances by the Hamburger Boys and Tomoya Kaneko.

Inside the venue, there will be a large selection of local specialties for sale and a food and drink corner, and the famous sea urchin rice bowl will be sold for 2,500 yen, with only 600 servings available.
