Overview

The 8th Rankoshi Seseragi Festival, a major event held every summer in Rankoshi Town, will be held again this year. This two-day summer event takes place on the clear waters of the Shiribetsu River, where you can enjoy everything from hands-on activities to traditional performing arts, gourmet food, and nighttime fireworks.

This year, the eve of the festival is back! You can enjoy a beer garden while listening to jazz in the riverside square. From 8:00 p.m., there will be a spectacular fireworks display.

The main festival on the 27th (Sunday) will begin with a performance of Konbu Keiryu Taiko, followed by a talk show by Kenji Sugitani and a live performance by local idol group Wonder White. From 14:00, there will also be a raffle where you can win 100kg of Rankoshi rice. The main festival will also be broadcast publicly by Radio Niseko.
