Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observatory will hold its annual "Lavender Harvesting Experience 2025" in July, when the lavender is in full bloom. The 1,000 lavender plants blooming in the approximately 1,200 m2 field are varieties that are both visually appealing and fragrant, such as the fragrant "Okamurasaki" and the beautiful vivid purple "Nomurasaki Hayasasaki." You can take home the lavender you harvest with your own hands as dried flowers or potpourri.
