The Mikasa Hokkai Bon Odori Festival will be held, which was also used as a filming location for the HBC drama "Mikasa no King to Ato Shunin." In addition to the traditional coal-cutting race, which will be held over two days, there will be a variety of attractions for both children and adults to enjoy, including stage shows, Mikasa Bon lanterns, and a summer fireworks display. The fireworks, which can be seen from the venue and overlooking the tower, are a sight unique to Mikasa.
