🎓 Profile: Rikako Tsujimoto

He graduated from Kyoto Horikawa Music High School, Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Music, Majoring in Piano, and from the Agostino Stefani Conservatory in Italy with honors. He is currently studying under CLAUDIO MARTINEZ MEHNER and NINA TICHMAN at the University of Music and Dance Cologne, and MASSIMILIANO FERRATI at the Dal Arbaco Conservatory in Italy.
He has won 1st place and the Audience Prize at the Premio Lamberto Brunelli Piano Competition (Italy), 2nd place at the Giulio Rospigliosi International Piano Competition "Premio Schumann" (Italy), 2nd place at the Warsaw Grand Prix International Piano Competition (Poland), 2nd place at the Ischia International Piano Competition (Italy), 5th place at the Palmadoro Finale Ligure International Competition (Italy), and was a finalist at the Chieti International Competition (Italy) and the Clavicolon International Piano Competition (Germany).
Participated in the preliminary round of the 2025 International Chopin Piano Competition (Poland).
He has won numerous awards, including being selected for the national finals of the PTNA Piano Competition in the A1, B, C, and G grades, Best Prize, Bronze Prize, and Gold Prize in the national finals of the Chopin International Piano Competition IN ASIA University General Division, Gold Prize in the national finals, Bronze Prize in the Asian competition, and 2nd place in the Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition (Japan).
Recommended for the Bösendorfer University of Music series at Tokyo University of the Arts.

In addition to performing in concerts in Italy, Japan, the United States, the Czech Republic, Germany, Dubai, Spain, Liechtenstein, and Poland, he has performed concertos with the Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra, the Grosseto Symphony Orchestra, the Veneto Philharmonic Orchestra, the Italian Sinfonia Giovanile, and the Orchestra Concertante Kyoto. He is a Zambon Scholarship recipient in 2023. He will be a Meigakudo Supported Artist from 2024.

She has studied piano under Tamaki Kai, Kazuyo Baba, Hiroshi Arimori, and Yoshimi Reed, and solfeggio under Junko Abe.
