Acosta!, a large-scale cosplay event with over 250,000 participants annually, is finally being held in Sapporo for the first time. It is held almost monthly across the country, mainly in the Kanto and Kansai regions. Since its first event in March 2014, the event has grown in size and attendance every year, and is designed to be safe and enjoyable for cosplay beginners and children alike.

This time, the setting will be the Sosei East area of Sapporo, which is home to several historical buildings, centered around Sapporo Factory.
