Hokkaido University of Science is holding the "Mt. Teine Day Commemorative Walk Event 2025" as an annual autumn event to deepen ties with the local community. This autumn event celebrates "Mt. Teine Day" on October 23rd, named after Mt. Teine, which is 1,023 meters above sea level, with the local community.

This event is comprised of two stages, "STEP 1" and "STEP 2," with the first stage, STEP 1: Mountain Walk, taking place in September. This program is planned to allow participants who want to try mountain climbing or experience a sense of accomplishment in nature to discover and share the charm of Teine together.
