September 23rd (National Holiday) Held at Nijo Square in Soseigawa Park
The Sapporo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Group (Sapporo YEG) will hold the light art festival "Sapporo YEG Yume Akari 2025" at Nijo Square in Soseigawa Park on September 23, 2025 (national holiday).
Set on the historic Sosei River, citizens, children, and local businesses come together to express their hopes for Sapporo's future with fantastical lights. This is a new autumn tradition that is free to enter and open to the public.

Event highlights
✨ Dream Lantern Floating Festival (from 18:00)
• Up to 1,000 dream lights will light up the river surface
• Lights made by children and visitors will be released all at once.
• Environmentally friendly materials are used, and LEDs are recycled after collection.
🌱 Botanical Lighting Ceremony (from 6:00 PM)
• Plant-derived light gently illuminates the riverside
• Lighting up the city symbolizing sustainable urban development
