Miyajima-numa is known as the northernmost and largest stopover site in Japan for the Greater White-fronted Geese, a national natural monument, and is registered under the Ramsar Convention. During peak seasons in spring and autumn, approximately 60,000 to 70,000 geese come here to rest. The sight of the geese roosting, which can only be seen during certain seasons and times, is truly spectacular. With autumn approaching and the geese arriving, a bus to Miyajima-numa will be operating only on September 27th. A local guide will be provided to ensure you have an even more enjoyable experience.
