To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Kyowa Town merger, an event will be held at the Kyowa Town Lifelong Learning Center Gymnasium on Saturday, October 18th, where you can sample Kyowa's new rice and new soba. In addition to a wide selection of delicious new rice and new soba themed menu items, there will also be a Wankosoba Tournament (registration closed), a 5kg Perfect Rice Guessing Game, a Big Bingo Tournament, a Children's Festival, and more.

The name of the roadside station, which was open to the public, has finally been decided! It will be announced at a ceremony during the event.
