In anticipation of the development of offshore wind power generation in the areas off the coast of Matsumae and off the coast of Hiyama, which were designated as "promotion areas" under the Renewable Energy Marine Area Utilization Act in July 2025, lectures and workshops will be held to help companies in Hokkaido, particularly those in the Oshima and Hiyama areas, understand the necessary information on the qualifications and equipment required for the offshore wind power industry and to give them a concrete idea of what it would be like to enter the industry.
