Hoshino Resorts Tomamu, a nature wonder resort that allows visitors to experience the natural beauty of Hokkaido, is opening Ice Village, a town made of ice and snow that appears only on winter nights. This ice town, made possible by Tomamu's uniquely harsh winter cold, features 11 ice and snow domes on a 3.2-hectare site, offering a variety of experiences to enjoy the cold. The Ice Church, the symbol of Ice Village, has watched over many couples' vows since its opening in 2005.

This winter marks the 20th anniversary of the Ice Church. To commemorate this, a new "Ice Museum" will be opened, where visitors can learn more about the history of the Ice Church and the story of its creation.
