Centered around seafood from Kushiro, the area is lined with shops selling Kushiro's specialty products, and bustling with people looking to buy year-end gifts and New Year's treats. Items can be shipped to other regions, making them perfect as souvenirs. There are also fun events, such as a fun raffle, held during the period.
