Over two days, on Sunday, August 31st and Monday, September 1st, we invited Shigekix, a world-renowned breakdancer who will be competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics, and his sister Ayane, who has competed in numerous international competitions, to Kitahiroshima City. They took part in a match at Escon Field HOKKAIDO, a dance performance and talk show at Tonarie Kitahiroshima, and a special class at a local elementary school, making it a special opportunity for approximately 34,000 people to experience the charm of breaking over the two days.

One of the children who participated in the special class at a local elementary school commented that it was "my first time and it was so much fun, I want to get better." It was such a fulfilling experience for the children that we are now holding a second "First Time Breaking Class" as part of our project.

He holds the JDSF BREAKING independent qualification "BCL" and the Cabinet Office-approved JBYDA "Breducation" License A (Professional) for breaking instructor licenses. He is one of the top instructors in Hokkaido, producing many students every year from his dance studio in Nemuro City, the easternmost city in Japan, to compete in the top domestic competition, the All Japan Breaking Championships.
