Overview

An event will be held to think about and enjoy the Ezo deer that were captured to prevent damage to Shibetsu's agriculture and forestry industries, from the perspective of effective resource utilization. Ezo deer are used for meat and pet food, and there are hopes that they will also be used for their leather. In addition to exhibits and merchandise, there will also be ramen made with Ezo deer bones.
There will be sales of venison burgers, workshops for making accessories using deer leather, sales of pet treats made with healthy venison from Nakashibetsu that are gentle on the bodies of dogs and cats, and sales of agricultural crops (potatoes) that have been protected through efforts to prevent agricultural damage.
