This large-scale bean-throwing event, held annually in the New Year in Honbetsu Town, is themed around beans, a local specialty. The main event is the "Intense Bean Throwing" where many demons appear, and there are also bean-bathing activities. As befitting Japan's number one bean-producing town, this is a hot and intense Setsubun event that will blow away the cold.
