For this solo exhibition, which will be my last as a student, I have painted by tracing the shining memories within me.
The dazzling light, the comforting light, and the light that blurs my vision are all precious memories to me.
I will be exhibiting oil paintings and Japanese paintings, which I have been working on for about two years.
Please feel free to stop by.
<Comment on the Exhibition>
For me now, painting means facing myself, and in the process of creating, I have come to feel my emotions more strongly. This is very pleasing, but also sometimes painful.
As I faced myself, what was important to me were the memories that were like light within me.
Since I began studying art, I have been painting the light of various emotions that I see through my eyes, using the colors I feel.
I look forward to the way my approach to painting will change little by little over the course of my life, and for this solo exhibition, which will be my last as a student, I have collected moments of light that I have painted to the best of my ability at the moment.
In my first solo exhibition, "Blink of the Night," held two years ago, I mainly exhibited works depicting light in ordinary scenes at dusk or at night, but this time I will not be limited to night scenes, but will be showcasing a mix of old and new works, including brighter and more numerous colors and changes in my painting style, so I hope you will enjoy them.
Although the cold weather continues, we have prepared a warm exhibition that will give you a moment of relief, so please feel free to stop by.
