Rebun Atsumorisou is an endemic species of the orchid family from Rebun Island. During its flowering season, the event is held at the Rebun Atsumorisou habitat, located along the 'Misaki Meguri Course,' a trail course that goes around Cape Sukoton and Cape Sukai. Visitors are welcomed with gifts of kelp tea, flower seeds, and picture postcards.
