The 2nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Society of Advanced Practice Nursing will hold a public lecture titled "'Thinking About 'Always' Before 'What If''".

Illness or sudden changes in health are familiar issues for everyone. However, many people are surprisingly unaware of what to prepare for in case of an emergency, or what knowledge can provide peace of mind in daily life.

In this lecture, certified nurse specialists will explain in an easy-to-understand manner topics such as how to spend your days while living with cancer, the basics of emergency medical care, signs of sudden illness, and knowledge about the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Additionally, after the lecture, there will be an "Ask Anything Corner (Nursing Consultation)" to answer questions and address the concerns of the participants.
The advanced practice nurses, such as certified nurse specialists and nurse practitioners, who gather at the Japanese Society of Advanced Practice Nursing, consider contributing to the local community as one of their important roles, in addition to their practice in the medical field. We hope this public lecture will be the first step for you and your family to prepare for your health, medical care, and "what if" scenarios.

Furthermore, nursing professionals scheduled to attend the academic meeting are also welcome. Please feel free to invite those around you to join.
