"LOOOP," first held last year. Of the two-day event, the second day was unfortunately canceled due to bad weather. However, the first day attracted about 1,700 people. It received a great response and created a new summer scene. This year, for the second time, we will hold the event with even more powered-up content, using last year's disappointment as a springboard.

■Music LIVE & Play Park by a lineup of spectacular artists
The second day will feature live performances by music artists. A spectacular lineup of 8 groups will appear, including DJ/music producer SHINICHI OSAWA, who is active both in Japan and internationally, and SPECIAL OTHERS ACOUSTIC, who excites audiences at festivals nationwide. On the first day, we are planning a 3on3 basketball tournament hosted by Whitea, a freestyle basketball performer based in Hokkaido, as well as performances by local dance teams and Japanese taiko drummers.

On both days, a play park area for families will also be set up. We will provide a space where children and adults of all generations can have fun, with a touch pool where you can learn about the creatures of the Hakodate seas, festival-style attractions, a Beyblade experience, and the foam machine that was popular last year.

■Over 50 stores in 2 days! A huge, curated marche with vendors from inside and outside Hakodate
We will hold a food & craft marche where attractive independent shops and restaurants from all over the country, as well as from the local Hakodate area, will gather. From Hakodate, there will be craft beer from White Seed and NY-style pizza from Sinot PIZZA. From outside Hakodate, a collection of vendors offering gourmet food and goods different from your usual festival will assemble, including HIGUMA Doughnuts, which is particular about using Hokkaido ingredients; ZZZ365, the number one french fry in Japan; PRANA CHAI from Melbourne; and Kitade Tacos, which operates mainly in Tokyo with tacos using domestic tortillas. This is not just a one-time event; it will create a 'sustainable relationship between the city and its people,' where visitors can discover the city's famous shops and visit them in their daily lives.

■New-style Bon Odori dancing to live music & DJs, and an 'Original Ondo' born in the Reiwa era
Based on the traditional Bon Odori, you can enjoy a new form of Bon dancing on the first day with a live band performance by 'Namaoto Keikaku,' and on the second day with DJ sounds by 'Chinbantei Goraku Shisho.' Furthermore, we are currently creating the 'LOOOP Original Bon Odori Ondo,' which will be choreographed by all participants through submissions on social media and other platforms. The venue will be open to the public for free after 18:00, creating an overwhelming circle of dance that unites the venue with a view of Mount Hakodate at dusk.
