In addition to visiting the Shin-Katsurazawa Dam and the Mikasa Ponbetsu Dam, which is currently under construction, you will also visit the museum and the quarry where stone was extracted to build the dam. By learning about the geological strata used in the dam's construction, you can gain a deeper appreciation for the dam's appeal. The quarry, the Mikasa Ponbetsu Dam, and the management passage 'Kansaro' (inspection gallery) inside the body of the Shin-Katsurazawa Dam are special spots exclusive to this geo-tour that are not normally open to the public.

・High school students and older: 4,200 yen
・Elementary and junior high school students: 3,900 yen
*Junior high school students and younger must be accompanied by a guardian.
