This infrastructure tour is a tour to learn about the history and flood control of the Kushiro region, focusing on the two histories of coal and Kushiro River flood control that have supported the development of the Kushiro region. On the day of the tour, you will visit with commentary from Curator Ishikawa of the Kushiro City Museum about coal, from staff of the Kushiro Development and Construction Department of the Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau about Kushiro River flood control, and from Curator Kato of the Kushiro City Museum about the vegetation of the Kushiro Wetlands.
