Overview

The biggest highlight of the Shiretoko Shari Neputa is the Neputa parade, where various large and small fan-shaped Neputa floats parade through the town's main street with the chant of 'Yāyadō'. You can actually experience the passionate night of Shiretoko, woven by the powerful Neputa floats painted with heroic warrior pictures that color the Shiretoko summer night, and the grand chorus of beautiful Neputa festival music. Furthermore, from the day before the Neputa parade days, specialty products from Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, will also be on sale.
