Hiroshi Kitagawa

Born in 1977. Born in Obihiro City, Hokkaido. After graduating from university, worked as a reporter and editor for a local newspaper, an economic magazine, and a monthly magazine (Japan) before moving to Bangkok, Thailand in 2013. He is the editor-in-chief of a weekly magazine (Thailand), and upon his return to Japan in 2020, he will make a U-turn to his hometown of Obihiro for the first time in 24 years. He established Sumahiro Inc. in July 2022 after receiving the first investment from “Contrail LLC,” a start-up support company, for his business concept presented in the “Tokachi Innovation Program (TIP),” a program to turn dreams into reality and pioneer the future. Based on the concept of “overwhelmingly interesting media will save Tokachi”, Sumahiro Inc. is a company that solves all issues in Tokachi with the power of digital media. It operates the Tokachi information website “sumahiro.com”. In May 2023, it opened the job matching web media “TCRU” with the aim of solving the human resource shortage in Tokachi.
