In the fall of 2014, a large playground equipment plaza for children opened in Sarabetsu Rural Park. It is one of the largest playgrounds in the Tokachi region.
In the center of the plaza is a symbolic tower with a hat of Don-chan, the character of Sarobetsu Village, and there are more than 30 kinds of items for children to enjoy, including 5 kinds of slides such as roller sliders and banana sliders, as well as 7 kinds of health equipment for adults.
It takes about 3 minutes by car from the Sarabetsu IC. There are restaurants in Sarabetsu city around the park and the Fukushi no Sato hot spring about 1 km away, so please feel free to visit with your family.
