Biei Free Range Dairy Farm (Biei Farm)
Overview
Located in a particularly naturally rich area of Biei, the cows graze all year round on a vast pasture of about 20 hectares (the size of four Tokyo Domes). You can enjoy the idyllic scenery of the cows grazing and the lush green scenery typical of Hokkaido.
In the shop and its adjoining plant (production facility), freshly squeezed raw milk is processed every day while still fresh, and products are made. In addition to soft serve ice cream made with freshly squeezed raw milk, processed products such as pudding, butter, and yogurt, as well as pasteurized milk are also sold.
The homemade cheese made in the cheese building is a melty raclette cheese. This is now on sale on toasted bread from Biei Senka's Yumechikara. If you like cheese, this is a must-try.
