A park rich in nature where you can enjoy seasonal flora and fauna, including the Nakatombetsu Shonnyudo Cave, a Hokkaido Natural Monument. Visitors can enjoy the nature of Nakatombetsu in a relaxed atmosphere.
Nakatombetsu limestone caves were formed approximately 10,000 years ago by the accumulation of shellfish that lived in the northern sea, forming limestone, which is academically valuable and is the northernmost karst formation in Japan.
