Miyanodai Observatory
Miyanodai Observatory stands on a small hill. Formerly also called Tokuman Observatory and Sarobetsu Observatory, it was inspected by the Prince Yoshimasa in 1963, and since then it has been called "Miya-no-dai Observatory" as it is today. The vast Sarobetsu wilderness can be seen in front of the majestic Mt.
