JR Bihoro Station
Overview
Bihoro Station was opened on October 5, 1912. Later, in 1972, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the opening of Bihoro Station, the Driving Wheel Monument was erected in front of the station.
The monument, which features the driving wheel of locomotive "C5862", is one of the most popular spots for SL fans.
The current unique station building with a clock tower was completed on December 1, 1985.
